Nick Clarke, the BBC Radio 4 broadcaster, has lost his life to cancer. You can read the BBC’s obituary here.

I wrote last August about his return to the airwaves. Sadly, his return was tragically short-lived. Nick Clarke symbolised the very best of the BBC and will be sorely missed.
