I had quite a wait in my local surgery tonight. The time passed quickly, as I couldn’t help catching a series of interesting conversations.

This is the one that amused me most, between a father and his young son:

Dad: "We’re seeing Dr Webber."

Boy: "Doctor Who?"

Dad: "Not Doctor Who, Dr Webber!"

A little later….

Boy: "Do we have to pay?"

Dad: "No, it’s free."

Boy: "Why’s it free?"

Dad: "Because I pay lots of tax!"
